Interesting websites that Look at the causes of global warming and solutions

Green belt movement Interesting website of community Organisation starting in Kenya by Nobel peace prize winner Wangari Maathai (2004) which focuses on local communities particularly women planting trees in Kenya to help solve environmental and social problems.I will be a hummingbird is one interesting short video about global warming, this video and others can be found here- Green belt movement videos. I think this charity is well worth donating money to, as I don't think you can underestimate the importance of protecting and planting trees (when managed correctly) in solving environmental problems.

State Oracle of Tibet talks about the causes of global warming I really like this video because it explains simply why global warming happens in a logical way but it also links money spent making weapons for war as contributing to global warming. I think its interesting how it talks about how we are all contributing to global warming, and there should be a war like effort by people and governments to solve global warming. The other videos 1,2,3 and 5 on youtube under Oracle of tibet, global warming are also worth watching and discuss strategies to deal with anger, and other tibetan buddhism ideas.

Good point when he says global warming pollution occurs because people want to make money, but once global warming becomes under control you can't use this money to solve global warming. I think too often we blame technology for global warming when the really root cause of global warming is greed/desire to make excessive amounts of money and/or fear of losing money. Though is is also true in the west we are very much attached to coal powered technologies because people are attached to making money from dirty technologies and people fear paying too much for electricity from renewable energy sources.

(I think it would be funny if you could see video of him talking with people about the inner enemy i.e. anger vs outer enemies to a group of people involved in gang violence and see how it went down.)

The issue of global warming is different to a war if a country like America was attacked, you have have an opponent you can deal with but in the case of the overall damage of the environment by global warming there is no enemy that is doing it to us. We are all doing it. There is no enemy to point to. So therefore in the case of global warming there should be the same defence imperative to defend us against global warming. And therefore responsibility of governments to take energetic action.

Therefore in order to make money and make business people over industrialise. Producing global warming pollution in order to make money. Making money in that way, but when the global warming attacks you can't buy yourself out of the problem. Unless you have enough millions and millions to go to the moon and build a condo though I don't think you will find much to eat and drink on the moon, (joke)."
